Every time I run an illustration course, I receive a lot of messages with questions like: 'Is there a course for those who work? I can’t take a whole week off,' 'Will there be an evening course?', 'I’ve wanted to join for so long, but I can only attend in the evenings, is there any hope of getting in?' That’s why I created an evening illustration course specifically for those who can only attend it after work but are eager to improve their illustration skills.
We will meet three times a week for a month, in the evenings, in a cozy space in the center of Belgrade. We will work on various assignments, attend lectures, discuss results, and find inspiration. On weekends, we’ll draw in interesting locations; for example, we will definitely visit a museum, go to a comic book store, and have a meeting with a florist to learn more about drawing flowers.
I will introduce and demonstrate various techniques for finding ideas and inspiration, share the nuances of working with clients, and explain how I manage my time. You will have the opportunity to try your hand at being an illustrator-journalist, learn about scientific illustration, explore plants through botanical illustration, and, of course, dive into the magical world of comics. At the end of the course, we will work on a real project for an actual client!

FAQ
I will provide a list of recommended materials before the start of the course. It will include required materials (for example, ink and a brush will be needed for sketches at the beginning of the course), but there are actually no restrictions—draw with whatever your heart desires!
Yes! It doesn't matter whether you plan to make illustration your profession or just want to try different directions, the course will be a good fit for you. You will indeed have to draw a lot and there will be homework, but there will also be an atmosphere of support, creativity, and no judgment. My courses are about inspiration and love, not grades.

On this course, you will get to try a variety of things, from drawing in a museum to creating a comic. You’ll learn how an illustrator can also be a journalist, how to extract stories from real life, and why sketches on paper are so cool and important. You will have the opportunity to go through the entire comic creation process, from the idea to the finished product, visit a museum, draw plants, and even try working on a real project.
For a month, you’ll immerse yourself in active work and receive feedback and advice not only from me but also from other course participants. In addition, I will conduct individual consultations with each student at the end of the course, where you can personally ask me any questions, share your fears or successes, and get a "boost of inspiration."
